Here’s how Chronicler’s own web app works
What is the Chronicler web app?
While you can interact with Chronicler in chat, the web app exists as an in-depth interface to view your todos and notes.
How do I access the web app?
To access to the web app, you can type /notes, /todos, or /settings, which will take you to the corresponding page.
Are all my messages stored and synced in the web app?
Yes, all of your notes and todos are stored in the web app for you to browse. When you send a message to Chronicler in chat, the message is synced with the webapp.
Do I need to create an account to use the web app?
No sign-up required. Your account is created automatically when you message Chronicler.
How does the web app work without a login?
When you type /notes or /todos in your messaging platform, the web app opens with your session already connected.
How do I access the web app on desktop?
There are two ways to access the web app on desktop. One way is by using WhatsApp desktop and typing /notes, /todos or /settings and clicking the link.
The second way is by connecting your email to your account in your web app settings. Once you’ve connected your email, you can log in at chronicler.io/login. You MUST connect your email to the same account that’s connected to your WhatsApp.
Can I create notes and todos on the web app, not just on messaging?
Yes! Just navigate to either the notes or todo page and press the “+” button to create a new note or todo.
How do I edit a note on the web app?
Go to the Notes page and find the note you want to edit. Tap or click the note you want to edit and you will be brought to the editor, where you can attach or remove images and tag your notes.
How do I edit a todo on the web app?
Go to the Todos page and find the todo you want to edit. Press the “...” button to view editing options.
