What kinds of files does Chronicler support?

At present, Chronicler only supports sending images and voice notes. You can also send links to websites/articles. More common file support will be coming soon!

Voice Notes


How does Chronicler process voice notes? 

Your voice notes are transcribed and saved the same way as your regular notes and todos. Thoughts and ideas will be added to your notes while tasks will be added to your todolist. 


Can I search for voice notes?

You can search for voice notes the same way you search for regular todos and notes. 

Images


What kind of images can I send to Chronicler?

You can send any images to Chronicler - screenshots, receipts, etc. Chronicler will analyze any images and store them as a note to be retrieved later. 


How does Chronicler store images? 

Images are stored in your webapp profile. 


Can I search for images?

Yes, simply describe the image you’re looking for in chat to search for it. You can also visit the webapp with /notes to view your images. 


Link Support


What kinds of links can I send Chronicler?

At present, you can send links to websites but not video links (coming soon). 


How does Chronicler store links? 

Chronicler stores links by crawling and transcribing the webpage. If Chronicler cannot crawl the page, your link will be stored but you will not be able to search it through context. 


Video links

At present (July 2025), Chronicler does not support video links.


How do I find an old link I saved? 

Ask Chronicler in natural language like “what was that article about dolphins I saved?” 


Other File Support


Does Chronicler handle pdfs, docs, or other files? 
As of present (July 2025) Chronicler can not process uploaded files or documents, only images. Common uploaded file types will be coming to Chronicler soon.
