📱Adding Chronicler to your Home Screen

For Android Users

Android makes it easy to create shortcuts to specific WhatsApp chats.

Steps

1. Open WhatsApp
2. Navigate to your chat with Chronicler
3. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner
4. Tap “More” → “Add shortcut”
5. Confirm by tapping “Add”
6. • The shortcut will now appear on your home screen with Chronicler's name or contact photo.

💡 If the “Add shortcut” option doesn't appear, make sure the contact is saved in your phonebook under "Chronicler".

For iPhone (iOS) Users

There are two ways to quickly access Chronicler from your iPhone home screen:

Option 1: Use the WhatsApp “Pinned Chats” Widget (Recommended – Simple & Fast)

You can pin your chat with Chronicler to the top of WhatsApp, then add the WhatsApp Pinned Chats widget to your home screen for instant access.

Option 2: Create a Shortcut Using the Shortcuts App

This method gives you a true icon on your home screen that opens the Chronicler chat.

Steps:

1. Open the Shortcuts app
2. Tap + to create a new shortcut
3. Tap “Add Action” → “Open URL”
4. Enter:
   https://wa.me/16282935427
5. Tap Next, name it (e.g., “Chronicler”), and tap Done
6. Tap the ••• icon, then “Add to Home Screen”
7. Customize the icon if you like, then tap Add

💡 This opens directly into WhatsApp and starts the chat with Chronicler.
